Mr. Hamad Jasim Al-Mahmood, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Skopje, met today eith H.E. Dr. George Ivanov, former President of the Republic of North Macedonia.

During the meeting, Ivanov praised the close friendship he formed with His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, notably contributing to the prominent development of the Macedonian-Qatari relations during his presidency. Ivanov also presented to the Embassy the activities of the "Ivanov School for Young Leadership", a summer school project he supported during his ten year presidency, aimed at enabling talented and ambitious youth to develop and improve their creative and leadership skills and capabilities through training courses in the areas of leadership and management and lectures given by prominent political and academic personalities from North Macedonia and abroad.
